The online information resources course is designed to help students become lifelong learners. A thorough introduction to the Fr. Leonard Alvey Library; the building, organization of materials, use of the online catalogue, use of the electronic databases, and exploration of Internet reference for research guides the course. Effective search strategies are constructed and information literacy competency standards are incorporated into assignments.
